Titan’s oval gear (OG) flow meters utilize positive displacement technology to accurately measure fluid flow. These meters transfer a discrete volume of liquid from inlet to outlet with zero loss or slippage, ensuring consistent and reliable readings. Designed for optimal performance with high-viscosity fluids, Titan’s oval gear flow meters minimize leakage as fluid thickness increases, extending their operational range to lower flow rates. The low differential pressure design allows for efficient operation, requiring as little as a few millimeters of head pressure in certain applications.

At the core of Titan’s flow meters are precision-engineered oval gears, one of which is embedded with PTFE-coated magnets. These gears rotate smoothly on robust bearings, while fluid flow is detected through the chamber wall using a Hall Effect sensor, Namur sensor, or reed switch, generating precise pulse outputs per liter. Titan’s oval gear flow sensors are highly effective for oil flow measurement and are available in specialized models for corrosive media, featuring non-metallic plastic and ceramic components for durability in demanding industrial environments.

Several models feature non-metallic wetted components, including PEEK, ceramic, and elastomer options, making them ideal for aggressive chemical metering. Standard inlet and outlet connections are BSP or NPT female threads, with housing options in 316 stainless steel, aluminum, and PEEK. For hazardous environments, the meters are compatible with Namur sensors or reed switches for safe operation.

The output provides either an NPN pulse or a voltage-free contact closure, ensuring seamless integration with most electronic display and recording devices. Built with high-quality materials, Titan’s oval gear flow meters offer long-lasting durability, accuracy, and reliability.
